And the winner is……….Brooke and Derek!!!
I think we all pretty much knew that it would go down this way, but it was very exciting none the less. All of the dancers who had been voted off returned to the dance floor without the pressure of being judged this time! It was a star studded show with Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus performing. Each of the 3 finalists got to dance one last time for the judges votes. Warren and Kim went first doing their Hustle making the crowd go wild. They received three 9s from the judges. Next was Lance and Lacey who did their Jive. I think the pressure was getting to the dancers a bit because Lance and Lacey’s dance was slightly off. Even still, they received two 9s and a 10 from Bruno. Lastly, Brooke and Derek danced their Viennese Waltz, wowing everyone, bringing the crowd and Carrie Ann to tears and getting a perfect 10 from all three judges.
The first to get elimiated was Lance and Lacey. I was slightly disappointed as I felt that he deserved it a bit more than Warren based on technique. Regardless, it came down to Warren and Kim and Brooke and Derek for the top two spots, of course naming Brooke and Derek number 1! An unbelieveable end to and even more unbelieveable season!
News has it that Julianne Hough will not be returning to the show when it begins again in May because she wants to focus on her music. So, who will be the stars that will be tearing up the dance floor? I guess we’ll all just have to wait and see.

Anyone who is into Dancing with The Stars this season pretty much knows that Brooke has it in the bag. Last night’s show proved just how good she is when she and Derek got a 58 out of 60. Their freestyle dance was amazing. It was so fast paced, filled with TONS of great moves that certainly kept you wanting more! I definitely think that Brooke is going to get the trophy and if she doesn’t it’s going to cause a huge upset. I think that Lance should get second place because of how well he’s been doing. He’s really come out of his shell and has had some incredible performances lately. He and Lacey did a hip hop routine to “It’s Tricky”, and while it was good and I certainly enjoyed watching it, it definitely wasn’t as exciting as Brooke and Derek’s performance. They decided not to incorporate any lifts into the routine to keep with true hip hop style, but I think that’s what people are looking for in the final round. We know that they are allowed to do them and we almost expect them to add to the excitement. Warren has also come a VERY long way, the judges naming him “Most Improved”, but I think that they had it right when they said that his charming personality helps him get away with murder. He’s definitely not the best dancer, but people love him still. He’s charming and funny and a pleasure to watch, but certainly not deserving of the trophy in my opinion. So we’ll see tonight what happens during the results show where the dancers get one more chance to dance for the judges votes. It should be a very exciting night and I, along with the rest of America, can’t wait!!

One word sums up last night’s 24 Redemption, AWESOME. Action packed and full of drama in true 24 style. I must admit that I was a little disappointed that there was no CTU, because what is 24 without CTU? But the story was thrilling leaving me very anxious for the 24 season premier on Januray 11th, a two night event! We’ve been way too long without it! So, Redemption leaves me wondering if it is going to play into the new season, it must right? I had heard rumors that it was independent of the new season, but I didn’t feel that there was any resolution in the end. They were taking Jack into custody, is that how the new season is going to begin? And the new President, is she still going to be in office? The story with the President’s son has got to lead into the new season, because there was definitely no resolution there. The teaser that they featured didn’t tell anything at all about the new season, so I guess we are all left wondering. Regardless, I, along with many others I’m sure, will be anxiously awaiting this new season kick off. Jack, we’ve all missed you so much!

Yesterday there was a Real Housewives of Atlanta marathon on Bravo that I watched a few episodes of. I had seen it once before and since there was nothing else on to watch yesterday I hate to admit that I got a little sucked in. The housewives are reuniting on Tuesday at 9:00p.m. and it looks like it’s going to get a little vicious! The first episode I saw yesterday was the one where Sheree was planning her birthday celebration. I find it amazing that there are people out there that would want the world to see how “entitled” they think they are. I find her to be absolutely rude! And then there’s NeNe…. what can I say? She’s sort of funny sometimes, but also really trashy in my opinion. What’s up with the shirts she wears? And without a bra!!! My goodness! So she and Sheree never really got along, Sheree of course feels like she’s above NeNe. But she does call her to invite her to the party and NeNe is excited to go. Her and Kim go together and somehow NeNe’s name is not on the list so security will not let her in. Instead of coming upstairs to take care of it, Sheree sends her publicist out to talk to NeNe to explain the situation and invite her in. At this point NeNe is so embarrassed that she just wants to leave, so that’s what her and Kim do. Sheree just acts like she couldn’t really care less.
The next episode is Kim’s daughter’s birthday. Oh My Gosh! Kim, Kim, Kim……Blond Bimbo is all I can say about her. Who wears an exposed bra with a shirt she can’t button up to a kids birthday party? And, she definitely can’t sing to save her life, does she really believe she sounds good? Also, does she really think that cat is spelled KAT???? And who is this Big Papa?? Obviously we know he’s married at this point, but I wonder if it will ever come out who he actually is.
I kind of like Lisa, she seems like she’s a lot of fun. She didn’t seem like she got into all of the drama, but seeing the preview for the reunion I guess things have changed because she certainly has a lot to say to Kim! DeShawn is pretty quiet, no real excitement around her, definitely not good TV. I think the show could have done without her character.
Anyway, seeing all of these women act the way that they do, so privileged, I can’t believe the show is so popular. OK, yes, I got sucked in for a few episodes yesterday, but only because I was home with a baby and nothing else was on. I certainly wouldn’t be hooked on it, having to watch it week after week. I think that the high ratings are only adding to these ladies already oversized egos!

Wow! It was a busy week on All My Children. The week started out with Ryan, Greenlee, Annie and Aiden all still looking for Emma. While we knew that Di was watching her for Annie, it turned out that Di found out that Emma had been kidnapped and thought that Annie was going to try to pin it on her. Di hid Emma in an old church while she waited for Annie. Di pulled out a gun to shoot Annie and Annie tried to get the gun from her, shooting her in the process. When Ryan, Greenlee and Aiden heard the shot they barged into the room to find Di lying on the floor. Annie did just as Di was afraid of and tried to pin the whole thing on her. Di wasn’t dead though, and she got the gun and fired a shot. Aiden thought it was going to hit Greenlee and he pushed her out of the way getting shot himself. The police came and took Ryan and Annie to jail but let Greenlee go with Aiden to the hospital. Annie and Ryan ended up breaking out of jail and ran back to the scene to try to find something to tell them where Emma might be. Jesse was there trying to do the same thing. They figured out a church because they found a rosary and Di had wax on her purse. All three went running to the church only to find it on fire. Ryan and Jesse broke the door down and Ryan saved Emma. Back at the hospital the doctor was not optimistic about Aiden’s recovery, so Greenlee flew Jake down to take care of him. Jake said he needed to get back to Pine Valley, so they flew him back there. Just as Greenlee was about to sign the consent to operate papers, Aiden woke up and told her not to do it. That’s how the week ended with them. While this was all happening with Emma, Ryan figured out that Annie had something to do with it and pretended to want her back. Annie of course was thrilled. Once they got back to Pine Valley they all went back to the penthouse where Ryan continued to play Annie. Once Emma was asleep Ryan told Annie that he knew it was her and that he understood why she did it. He thought this would get her to admit it. She denied it and then took a gun out of her purse to shoot Ryan telling him that he was going to get nothing. That’s how things ended there.
Erica had taken over Fusion while Greenlee was out of town and made lots of changes. After leaving the hospital Greenlee headed over there after Jackson told her what had been going on. She confronted Erica who didn’t flinch saying that Kendell had left her power of attorney with the company in her absence.
Kendell is still in Canada and Zach is missing her. He is visiting her and very upset that there have been no changes. Once he leaves the room she opens her eyes but of course nobody sees. Zach rushes back to Pine Valley for Gabriella’s christening. Erica found a priest to do the christening but when he found out that it was a same sex couple he said he wasn’t comfortable performing the service. They end up getting someone else. Before the christening Bianca contacted Reece’s parents to try to get them to come but her mom hung up on Bianca. Bianca was very upset about this.
Now on to J.R., Little Adam, Crystal, and Tad…..They all continued to mourn the death of Babe. Crystal kept having thoughts of David and after a fight with Tad she went to David. He tried to kiss her saying that he was the only one who understood what she was going through. She ran back to Tad telling him to make love to her. She awoke from a nightmare thinking about David again. Meanwhile, during this time, David talked Amanda into working with him to bring J.R. down. He had her get drunk and call J.R. to help her. He came to help but Amanda blew it when she tried to kiss him. J.R. is still tempted by the bottle. Then Amanda goes to the Chandler mansion which J.R. and little Adam have decided to move back into, to apologize. J.R. accepts her apology. The next day David talks Amanda into wearing a dress like one that Babe had to remind J.R. of her. When Amanda sees J.R. he freaks out trying to rip the dress off her. Erica enters the room at this time telling J.R. to leave. J.R. goes back to the mansion asking where the alcohol was but Adam had it all taken away when they decided to move back in.
Jake and Taylor were getting closer before Jake had to leave to help Aiden. Brot is lurking around the hospital and Colby decides to let him stay at the mansion. Petey finds them coming into the house and gets mad at Colby but doesn’t understand that she is just helping him, so she kicks him out. Brot’s mom visits Taylor in the hospital bringing her pictures and apologizing for pretending not to know who she was.
Angela invites Natalia and her mom to stay with them, but it might prove to be too much more than she can handle when Jesse and Rebecca are talking about old times. She rushes out and goes to the hospital.
That concludes this weeks All My Children wrap up. Be sure to check back for more All My Children scoop.

I’m a mom of 3 boys, yes, “My 3 Sons”, ages 7, 6, and 4 months. During the week I am somewhat of a homebody, at least in the evenings. Taking care of 3 boys and a husband is hard work, and during the week especially, it gets crazy getting everyone ready for school and activities hubby is working. Not to mention trying to keep up with housework while caring for a colicky baby! My evenings are the only time I can actually take a breath and recoup after a very long day. I love to write and I love tv, so I thought it would be fun to write about some of my favorite shows. I love Prison Break and can’t wait for 24 to start up. I also love Dancing With The Stars and am sad that it’s almost over. I like watching The Biggest Loser, The Practice, Ugly Betty and Grey’s Anatomy. I also like some of the shows on Bravo and HGTV. WOW! It sounds like I watch a lot of tv, but I really don’t that much. When I’m feeding the baby during the day is when I watch things on Bravo or HGTV. I also always watch All My Children and my next post will be an All My Children Weekly Wrap Up.
